Ford’s
Focus ‘world car’ has won a second Car of the Year award in Argentina: the prestigious
"CPA Mercosur Car 2001", from the Automotive Journalist Council (CPA),
the country’s top automotive journalists.

Last year the Focus won the 2000 Car of the Year award in the import category.
Now it has won the 2001 Car of the Year prize for Mercosur produced autos, ahead
of the Audi A3 and Renault Clio.

Local production began in August 2000.
