Mitsubishi Motors Europe (MME) has partnered with IT solution firm Vinturas.

MME will be integrating Vinturas’ supply chain technology, which it says will solve network interoperability between MME and its trading partners.

Vinturas’ interoperable network solutions will be implemented for the New Generation ASX and the all-new COLT.

Bas van Groenewoud, General Manager, Vehicle Supply Chain Management of MME said: “Vinturas offers us increased availability and accuracy of data, enabling us to make the right data-driven decisions at the right time., bringing greater transparency and accountability throughout our supply chain.”

Private blockchain technology digitises the distribution process, which can lead to cost savings throughout the value chain and help streamline logistics.  

GlobalData analysis notes that the landscape for cross-chain interoperability is challenging. Blockchain market valuations for rang e from a billion to a couple of trillion dollars, depending on the source.

GlobalData estimates that global blockchain software and services revenine will reach $198.6bn by 2030.
