Lexus mobility moves to the air with new helicopter service

The service is currently operating in between city locations in Japan.

Lexus has introduced Lexus Flight, a helicopter service that adds air mobility to the company’s portfolio.

Operated by Aero Toyota using a dedicated Lexus Helicopter, it embodies Lexus’s “Discover” brand message and forms part of a new mobility ecosystem that connects land, sea and air.

The “Discover – imitate no one” message was introduced at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, reaffirming Lexus’s commitment to further transforming the brand into one that delivers one-of-a-kind experiences for each customer.

Lexus says it has continuously challenged itself to create new luxury experiences that reflect the increasingly diverse values and lifestyles of its customers. With offerings such as the LS Concept, which redefined the flagship with its innovative six-wheel package and the LY680 yacht, Lexus has expanded the luxury experience across land and sea.

With the addition of the Lexus Helicopter, it says it is developing a seamless mobility experience spanning land, sea and air.

Together with Aero Toyota, Lexus is reimagining the journey as a personal and memorable experience, from chauffeur service to the heliport to the flight to a city or resort and even time on the water aboard the LY680. Mobility is transformed from simply a means of reaching a destination into an experience that enriches the customer’s lifestyle.

The helicopter is a seven-seat Leonardo AW169 manufactured by Agusta and customised with a bespoke cabin that reflects Lexus’s luxury and attention to detail. In-flight facilities include Wi-Fi and a tablet system for controlling cabin climate, lighting, entertainment and a live feed of views from an external camera.

The service is currently operating in between city locations in Japan.
