China’s Xiaomi Auto confirmed that it plans to launch sales of its battery-electric vehicles (BEV) in Europe in 2027, starting in Germany, after it signed preliminary agreements with a number of leading dealer groups in the country at the IFA 2026 consumer electronics show in Berlin in early September.

The automaker, part of the Hong Kong-listed Xiaomi consumer electronics group, noted that it has sold 700,000 BEVs since it launched its first model in China in early 2024. The company said it now has a range of “high-quality smart electrified vehicles that bring seamless, intelligent living to users worldwide.”
