Key management changes announced by Ford Motor Company today include the appointment of Roman Krygier, 58, as group vice president of manufacturing and quality in charge of North American production and quality.

Krygier was previously vice president of Ford’s powertrain operations and will take on the considerable challenge of reducing the number of embarrassing recalls and product quality glitches the company has endured recently, including a F-150 Lightning truck problem announced only yesterday.
