Clarion Corporation of America, a subsidiary of Clarion Company ltd, has announced that it has agreements with Nissan to supply satellite radio for Nissan’s newest 2003 vehicle models.
Nissan will offer satellite radio this fall in many new 2003 models including the Nissan Murano crossover SUV and Pathfinder, the Infiniti QX4 luxury SUV, G35, Q45 and I35 luxury sedans.
Matt Matsuda, President of Clarion Corporation of America said: “Nissan has been a long standing customer and partner to Clarion for over 40 years. This agreement signifies an important milestone for Clarion, which clearly demonstrates our commitment to be a leading supplier of satellite radio in the OEM market and to offer our customers the newest technological developments possible.”
Mr Matsuda added: “Clarion Japan has extensively developed and redesigned all of Nissan’s factory radio head units mentioned above to support satellite radio programming.”
