The California Cruiser was described as “a concept of what might be next”.
With strong visual links to the current model, the concept gives a clue as to how an update might look.
The usual accompanying PR hype describes the California Cruiser as “an all-around versatile vehicle with two large doors, an innovative rear hatch and multi-functional interior [with] ample space for four people and their travel needs, [that] can be transformed into a hotel room for two”.
The concept will appear at the 2002 Paris Motor Show.
