Audi of America has announced the appointment of Johan de Nysschen as its executive vice president in charge of business in the United States and Canada, replacing Axel Mees. He starts on December 1.
de Nysschen was previously president of Audi Japan where he established an exclusive dealer network and reconfigured the model line. Audi sales in Japan more than doubled as a result.
de Nysschen will report to Frank Witter, CEO of Volkswagen America and Canada.
