Hyundai Motor America has claimed it will be the first automaker in the US to fit XM satellite radio as standard, factory-installed equipment in every new vehicle line it launches.
Starting in 2006, XM radios will be factory-installed in the Sonata, Santa Fe, Elantra, and the replacement for the current XG350 sedan. By year-end 2006, 75% of will be XM-equipped, with the remaining models following, totaling well over 500,000 units annually by 2007.
