Volkswagen-owned Bentley Motors is to build 20 units of the Arnage limousine displayed as a ‘concept’ at the Geneva Motor show last March.
Each will be hand-built to individual customer specification by the company’s Bentley Mulliner coachbuilding division.
Each customer will deal with a personal designer and account manager and entire bespoke interiors can be specified.
Each car could take up to 6000 man hours to build and options include armour protection.
The latest limo is based upon the Arnage R with uprated suspension and reinforced subframes. An extra 200mm (8 inches) is added to the D pillar, a further 200mm goes into the rear doors and another 50mm into the front doors.
