The retail price of Daewoo’s service and repair parts in the UK has been drastically reduced according to a statement released by Daewoo Motor’s UK subsidiary.

The statement says that price cuts of 25% or more apply to the original retail price on exhausts, brake and clutch components. There is also 30-40% off many electrical engine parts.

Other products included in Daewoo’s 2002 ‘price cut bonanza’ are air conditioning condensers, engine management systems, steering racks, control arms, track rod ends and shock absorbers, complete engines and transmissions as well as fuel rails and radiators.

S K Kim, Daewoo Managing Director, said in a statement: “These price reductions raise the level of personal service, commitment and courtesy to our customers. Daewoo is committed to continually be at the forefront of competitively priced yet affordable cars and by reducing parts we are offering an added bonus to our existing Daewoo customers.”
