UK: Bentley appoints Chinese distributor

Bentley Motors has confirmed the appointment of Bentley China, part of Dah Chong
Hong Ltd (DCH), as sole distributor for the People’s Republic of China.

The UK-based, Volkswagen Group luxury car maker says that the projected seven
per cent growth in the Chinese economy over the next five years plus China’s
expected entry into the World Trade Organisation later this year and growth
in the commercial sector present clear “opportunities for Bentley Motors to
capitalise on new found wealth in China”.

Bentley China will establish three regional headquarters ‘hubs’ in Beijing,
Shanghai and Guangzhou/Shenzhen. These will include showrooms and dedicated
after sales units including service centres with maintenance and repair facilities.
