Volkswagen said on Tuesday that total vehicle deliveries fell 4.5 percent year-on-year in January to 354,369 units, according to Reuters.
Reuters said that the company put deliveries of its Volkswagen models 10 percent down at 209,190 units.
Audi deliveries grew 22.8 percent to 56,858 units, boosted by the impact of the new Audi A4.
The report adds that Skoda deliveries fell 10.6 percent to 30,642 units, while Seat rose 0.4 percent to 36,249 units.
Volkswagen recently announced its second production halt in less than six months, saying it will idle European plants over the Easter holiday to meet overcapacity and slowing demand.
