NEVS, the owner of Saab Cars, says it is not insolvent but admits in a 13 August media statement that it “does not have enough cash to pay all outstanding debt”.
The firm insists that its assets are larger than its debt and also that suppliers owed money will be paid. It cannot say when this will be, however.
NEVS notes that “dialogues with two major vehicle manufacturers have continued and developed in a positive direction” but neither names these OEMs nor adds any further information on this issue.
Finally, the firm whose representative filed a bankruptcy petition has NEVS, says, informed it that it will withdraw the case.
