Seat has suspended Spanish production following a strike at Johnson Controls Eurosit which supplies seats.

The strike began on 15 July and is expected to last until the 21st.

According to La Tribuna de Automocion, the strike was called because Johnson Controls Eurosit is looking to cut pay to secure a contract from Volkswagen.

Seat’s plant at Martorell, near Barcelona, has a daily production capacity of 2,100 vehicles, ET Auto.com reported, citing PTI.
