Honda expects its sales in China to grow 10% to 520,000 units this year, about in line with the overall market, local chief Atsuyoshi Hyogo said on Monday.

For the January-to-March first quarter, Honda China’s sales rose 2.5% year on year to 116,000, according to Reuters.

Honda operates several JVs in China building models like the Accord for domestic sale and also has an export-only plant in Guangzhou making the Fit/Jazz line. Production for Europe is scheduled to switch from there to Honda’s UK plant later this year.
