Scania has launched Smart Dash, a new digital dashboard for trucks.
The company said drivers can have more control over their trucks and receive timely alerts about potential hazards.
Drivers can choose what information they see on the dashboard and it uses a combination of physical buttons and digital controls.
There are two screens: a driver display and a central display available in two sizes (10’1 or 12’9 inches). Drivers can interact with the system using touch, buttons, or voice commands.
It also allows for updates over the air and can take advantage of 5G technology.
