Nissan has said it plans to start series production at its new car assembly plant in St Petersburg on June 3.
The plant has been in test production model in recent months.
Construction of the plant started in July 2007.
The plant is expected to produce Nissan Teana and Nissan X-Trail vehicles at the rate of 50,000 units a year.
