Kamaz has suspended operations of its main production line until July 6, the company has said.
Production was suspended on the company’s main assembly line after Kamaz fulfilled its orders for the month of June. The plant produced 1,606 trucks and vehicle sets in the period, it said.
The company has suspended production several times this year due to a decline in demand for trucks in Russia’s recession-hit economy.
In January-May, Kamaz produced 9,181 trucks and vehicle sets.
In 2008, Kamaz produced 51,005 trucks.
