Hyundai Motor CIS still targets sales of about about 137,000 cars in Russia this year, managing director Denis Petrunin has said.

He told Prime-Tass the company was planning to maintain its market share there at the 9.5% achieved last year, and that it would be sufficient to sell around 100,000 cars in Russia this year to achieve that goal, though initial plans to sell around 137,000 cars had not been dropped.

Last year, the company sold 192,719 cars in Russia, including vehicles produced at Taganrog Automobile Plant (TagAZ) which accounted for 54% of the total, Petrunin said.
