Renault has posted its best nine month results in terms of volumes for six years in France, while Dacia set its own new sales record.
French registrations of passenger cars (PC) and light commercial vehicle (LCV) increased by 2.9% to 498,900 units, for a market share of 26.5%.
Clio remains the best-selling car in France, while ZOE alone accounts for nearly two-thirds of the electric vehicle market.
With registrations of 398,958 PCs at end-September (+2.6%), Groupe Renault recorded its strongest sales volumes for six years.
Renault posted its best PC performance in six years, with 309,706 registrations (+2%). With 89,252 registrations (+4.8%), Dacia again set a new sales record in the French market, where it ranks as the number five brand.
In terms of products, Clio remains the PC market leader in France, a position it has held for more than seven years. Captur (7th), Sandero (8th), Megane (9th) and Scenic (10th) round out the top ten in the PC market.
