A summary of the highlights and images from Ford’s ‘Go Further’ new product blitz in Amsterdam this week. Star of the show: the redesigned Mondeo for Europe, essentially the same ‘OneFord’ as North America’s new Fusion. But there was lots more. And we really do mean lots.

- SYNC with MyFord Touch in new Mondeo, others [including updated Fiesta which also gets MyKey option]. Standard in all Euro Fords by 2018. Euro forecast 3.5m by 2015, 13m globally
- Raj Nair: Ford Europe will build 800,000 EcoBoost engines a year by 2015
- That’s 800k of the one-litre version alone. Will be offered in new Mondeo
- New Kuga just rolled out to applause from dealers in Amsterdam audience
- Global marketing/sales VP Jim Farley: Edge coming to Europe as a OneFord. [just-auto has since confirmed this redesigned line includes right hand drive for the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, etc and opens up Japan, Asian markets like Singapore, Malyasia and Thailand and markets where new LHD cars are banned such as Australia and New Zealand.] Target: 1m Ford SUVs in 6 years

- New Fiesta ST gets 182PS, 0-100km/h in 6.9s engine with CO2 down 20%. #Ford Europe dealers also to be redesigned
