WARSAW
– Fiat SpA will shed 750 people in Poland – 10 pct of its Polish staff there,
because of a "crisis" on the Polish market, Automotive News.com has
reported.

It said 580 people will go from Fiat Auto Poland and 170 from an F.A. Powertrain
engine plant.

Media said cuts will start on April 1. Last year, car sales in Poland fell
nearly 15 pct.
