NSG has reached an agreement with Entek International and Indonesia-based Separindo, to invest in PT Entek Separindo Asia, a joint venture established by the two companies for the manufacturing and sale of polyethylene (PE) separators for lead-acid batteries.

In the rapidly expanding Asian market for automotive flooded lead acid batteries, the demand for Idling Start and Stop (ISS) batteries is expected to grow significantly due to the need for fuel efficiency and reduction of carbon emissions.
