Lada sold 28,263 cars in Russia in September – some 23.8% ahead of last year’s pace.
The company said it sold 221,207 cars in the Russian market in the first nine months of the year – some 16,5% ahead of last year.
Lada Granta remains the company’s top-selling model in Russia and has been for the last 6 years. Some 67,702 cars of th Granta range were sold in the first nine months, up 6.4% compared to 2016.
Lada Vesta holds the second position by popularity: over 54,642 cars were sold within nine months that is more by 46% compared to the same period last year.
Lada XRAY keeps the leading position in the rate of sales growth in September. The sales growth of the compact urban crossover amounted to 87.2% versus September, 2016 and within nine months reached by 81.3%. Also model has set the record of monthly sales: 3,175 cars were realised in September and since the beginning of 2017 – 23,976 Lada XRAY.
Sales in the segment of commercial Lada vehicle are flourishing. 6,817 cars were sold within nine months that is more by 21.5% compared to nine months last year. The van Lada Largus holds the leading position and has won the title “Car of the year in Russia” 5-times in succession.
