Kongsberg Automotive‘s (KA) Fluid Transfer business has secured a contract for brake assemblies from an unnamed automaker in a deal worth EUR26m (US$28.5m).
KA will manufacture the technical assemblies in its facility in Wuxi, China, for supply to vehicles in the Asian and North American markets. Production is scheduled to start in 2018.

“Our ability to offer technical brake assemblies from our manufacturing facility in China was key to convincing this global manufacturer that KA was the right partner for this high volume platform,” said KA Fluid Transfer Systems Business area, EVP, Jonathan Day.
