Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced that Grant McPherson is to join the Board of Management as Executive Director, Manufacturing. He succeeds Wolfgang Stadler in the role – Stadler is retiring.
McPherson, currently Director of Quality and Automotive Safety, will take on his new position on 1 July and will report directly to Jaguar Land Rover CEO Prof Dr Ralf Speth. He will be responsible for more than 20,000 people working across the company's UK and global manufacturing operations and logistics teams.
McPherson replaces Wolfgang Stadler, who has announced his intention to retire at the end of June, having joining the business from BMW in 2013.
Prof Dr Ralf Speth, Jaguar Land Rover CEO, said: "I would like to welcome Grant McPherson to the Jaguar Land Rover Board of Management as our new Executive Director of Manufacturing.
