Honda global output fell 42.7% to 190,680 units with Japanese production down 48.4% and foreign production down 40% to 135,932 in February.

Sole bright spot was China where output was up 5.7% to 34,936, a record for the month.
Honda said its Fit (Jazz) was the best-selling car in Japan last month with sales of 9,551 units.
