Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reported 2014 operating profit of EUR3.65bn (US$4.14bn), in line with its own estimates.

This was within a guidance range of between EUR3.6-4.0bn and above an analyst forecast of EUR3.4bn, according to Thomson Reuters SmartEstimate.

Revenue rose 11% to EUR96.1bn euros while net debt at the end of 2014 was up to EUR7.7bn from EUR7bn a year earlier.

FCA forecast 2015 core operating profit of between EUR4.1 and EUR4.5bn on revenue up to about EUR108bn.

Global shipments are expected to increase to around 4.8-5.0m, up from 4.6m last year, the news agency reported.
