PT Honda Prospect Motor has released first sketches of the BR-V Prototype which will make its world debut at the Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show 2015 in August.
The new, low cost BR-V was developed jointly for Asian markets (including India) by Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Thailand, and PT Honda R&D Indonesia. This model will be introduced first in Indonesia as Honda’s new generation crossover utility vehicle. A second prototype is expected at the Delhi motor show next January.
The BR-V has high ground clearance, roof rails and a seven seat, three row cabin. The engine is a 1.5 litre petrol engine offered with manual or automatic transmissions.
