Chinese vehicle manufacturer, Geely International, will establish contract sub-assembly in Indonesia.

A report by Xinhua news agency said that PT Gaya Motor will assemble sedan cars with three engine variants – 1,300cc, 1,500cc, and 1,600cc. PT Gaya Motor is a subsidiary of Indonesia’s largest automotive company, PT Astra International.
Geely is aiming to sell 2,000 units a year.
Geely is the second Chinese manufacturer to establish a presence in Indonesia. Chery already assembles cars in the country in partnership with the country’s second largest automotive company, PT Indomobil Sukses International.
