Tata Motors‘ total sales of passenger and commercial vehicles (including exports) in July increased 1% year on year to 40,154 units.

Domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles for July fell 1% to 35,076 units.

Cumulative sales (including exports) for the fiscal year (from 1 April) rose 5% to 156,664 units.

Passenger vehicle sales last month rose 13% to 10,389 units.

Medium and heavy CV sales continued to grow – by 21% to 11,808 units but light and small model sales fell 21% to 12,879 units. Tata’s domestic market overall tally fell 5% to 24,687 units in July.

July exports rose 16% to 5,078 units while cumulative fiscal YTD sales were up 27% to 18,588.
