Maruti Suzki plans to launch Nexa, its premium dealership brand, in India on 23 July.
The network will offer cars priced over INR800,000 (US$12,622) and outlets will open on launch date, ET Auto.com reported.
The first model to be available at these dealerships will be S-Cross, followed by the Ciaz and YRA.
Maruti plans to recruit around 2,500 ‘relationship managers’ for Nexa in fiscal year 2015-16.
Marketing and sales head RS Kalsi said: “Our intent is to hire around 2,500 relationship managers for 100 Nexa outlets by the end of this fiscal year.”
The company has already recruited 1,000 people from sectors including financial services, aviation and hospitality, ET Auto.com reported citing PTI.
