Maruti Suzuki India will recall 69,555 diesel vehicles to check wiring.

Dealers will inspect and repair the wiring harness fitment in 55,938 previous model Dzire, 12,486 previous model Swift and 1,131 Ritz made between 8 March 2010 and 11 August 2013 and all sold in India.

No export models are affected, the automaker said in a statement.

“The problem was noticed based on feedback monitoring and internal checks by the company. Accordingly, proactive action has been initiated in the interest of customers,” Maruti said.
