Byungkwon Rhim, senior vice president at Hyundai’s international sales division, said: “Our global sales network and channel partners are strongly demanding we launch the Creta in their countries. This will create new additional sales globally.”

In 2015, the company plans to export up to 13,000 units, Reuters reported.

The vehicle is priced from INR860,000 (US$13,535) in India.

Hyundai wants to sell 480,000 vehicles in India in 2015, a year on year increase of 17%, local MD BS Seo said.
