Denso has acquired a majority stake in a subsidiary of Indian auto parts maker Pricol.
The supplier now holds a 51% stake with Pricol holding the remaining 49% in the company which designs, manufactures and sells instrument clusters for passenger vehicles.

Denso plans to rename the local subsidiary Denso Pricol India later this year and aims to strengthen its foothold in the fast growing market there.
