South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor unveiled its latest battery-powered passenger vehicle, the Ioniq 3 compact hatchback, at the 2026 Milano Design Week in Italy. This latest addition to Hyundai’s Ioniq battery electric vehicle (BEV) brand was designed mainly with European markets in mind, by Hyundai Motor Europe, to take on the growing number of BEV brands and models in the region.

It adopts the company’s new ‘Aero Hatch’ design concept featuring a streamlined silhouette with enhanced airflow, while maximizing cabin space and overall comfort.
