Opel/Vauxhall says that it has received more than 25,000 orders for its new Mokka small SUV.
The Mokka goes on sale shortly in Europe and Opel/Vauxhall says that ‘demand has been particularly strong in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Russia’. The Mokka has been available to order since June.
The 1.6 litre ecoFLEX entry level Mokka variant with can be ordered from EUR18,990 in Germany (rrp. Germany including VAT).
“Now that we have the Mokka, a new chapter in our product offensive has begun. Our successful order intake shows that the Mokka is spot on. Its technologies, dynamic and bold design appeals to the taste of our customers,” says Opel Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Alfred E. Rieck.
The Mokka is the first of three models that Opel/Vauxhall says will open up new vehicle segments for the Opel brand. In the first half of 2013, the new City Car, the ADAM, and a new convertible will also have their market debut.
