Mazda has announced two senior management appointments affecting senior European executives.
Masahiro Moro takes up the new post of vice president, selected markets and retail management, at European headquarters in Leverkusen, from April 1.
Nigel Brackenbury, currently sales director, Mazda Motor Europe, is appointed general manager, global marketing division, Mazda Corporation based in Hiroshima, Japan, effective immediately.
Moro joined Mazda Motor Corporation in Hiroshima in 1983 and has held management positions in both the marketing and sales divisions.
Over the last three years Brackenbury has overseen the establishment of Mazda national sales companies in Italy, France, the UK, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark; as well as helping to strengthen Mazda Motor Europe’s relationship with its independent distributors.
