The head of Fiat’s German operations is leaving to run Audi sports car arm Lamborghini, Reuters reported.
The report said Stephan Winkelmann will replace Werner Mischke at the end of the year. Audi reportedly said Mischke is leaving for personal reasons, and Winkelmann’s marketing expertise should help the prestigious brand’s global market penetration.
Reuters said Winkelmann held a series of sales and marketing roles at Fiat in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland before becoming head of Fiat Germany only 10 months ago.
