Car auctioneer BCA has been awarded a contract to sell used cars on behalf of DaimlerChrysler in Germany.
BCA collects the vehicles directly from dealers and takes them to the nearest of its seven auction centres in the country – Berlin East in Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten, Berlin South in Neuseddin, Hannover, Neuss, Groß-Gerau, Heidenheim and Stuttgart.
Vehicles are offered through physical auction and electronic channels, including LiveOnline and dedicated online auctions held at www.daimlerchrysler.autoauktionen.de.
DaimlerChrysler sales take place weekly across BCA’s German network with three additional online auctions each week. Dealers buying at these sales are offered a range of vehicles including part-exchange, ex-leasing, nearly-new and prestige cars with each vehicle assigned to the most appropriate physical or online remarketing channel.
“This partnership with DaimlerChrylser is a quantum leap forward for BCA in Germany, providing the potential for significant future growth in car volume and sales,” said Peter Dietrich, managing director of BCA Deutschland. “Two additional auction centres are planned for Munich and Hamburg in the near future.”
