Geely’s Volvo Cars has launched its ‘Care by Volvo’ subscription service here in the UK, offering a car, service and maintenance, roadside assistance and data services for a single monthly payment.
The service expanded nationwide after a regional trial and is pitched as an alternative to leasing or buying.
The automaker claims its product “covers more aspects of car ownership with greater flexibility than any other comparable service currently on the market in the UK”.
All Volvo models are available, with a wide range of versions of each car offered.
Scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs, replacement tyres and roadside assistance cover are included.
Dedicated customer service teams have been set up to deal with all subscription customer needs.

By GlobalDataConor Horne, the UK head of the subscription service, said: “It is a great way for people to access the car they want, avoiding the complexities and the long-term commitments associated with traditional car ownership.”
Customers can register online or at a dealer and vehicle delivery is available.
Volvo offers a 30 day trial without notice period. Insurance is also provided during the trial. After 30 days, customers can change the car or end the subscription with three months’ notice. Subscription is open ended and there are no cancellation fees.
Prices start at GBP559 a month (for an XC40 T3 Momentum).
