Ford Motor Company China sales fell 26% year on year to 69,503 vehicles in April.

Year-to-date sales fell 21% to 277,000 units.
 
Monthly sales for Changan Ford Automobile (CAF) fell 35% to 40,000 vehicles while year-to-date sales fell 28% to 165,000 units.
 
Commerical vehicle unit Jiangling Motor Corporation (JMC) volume dipped 6% to 24,000 vehicles last month and was also down 6%, to 90,000 vehicles, YTD.
 
Monthly sales of Lincoln fell 14% to 3,500 vehicles in April but were up 4% to 16,000 vehicles, YTD.

Ford's China chief Peter Fleet said the company had launched a range of new, China-specific vehicles (at the Beijing show) – redesigned Focus and updated Escort plus a sporty Ranger Wildtrack variant.

Lincoln is set to launch redesigned or updated Aviator, Nautilus and MKC models.

These are the first of 50 new products Ford will launch in China by 2025.

The automaker has also announced its new National Distribution Services Division which will handle marketing, sales and service of all Ford brand models in China, starting with the Explorer this month.
