Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) plans to start production at its joint venture with Chery have reportedly slipped into 2015.
The Bloomberg news agency reported remarks from Ralf Speth, CEO at JLR, made at the Delhi Motor Show.
Speth reportedly said that the JV’s commercialised production will now begin in 2015 rather than this year, because of delays concerning machinery and equipment.
He also told Bloomberg that the plans for production this year were never big and that some pilot production in 2014 was still possible.
