Nissan Motor is testing its e-NV200 LCV in Hong Kong, with an eye on future sales for the vehicle in Asia.
Nikkei reported that the field test is being conducted in cooperation with a local unit of French waterworks giant Veolia. Hong Kong District Cooling is using an e-NV200 in its operations in a redeveloped area of the Kowloon district, the report said.
Field data will be analysed at a Nissan research lab in Japan to determine the vehicle’s suitability for use in Hong Kong.
Nissan has also been testing the e-NV200 in the US. The Barcelona-made model was launched in Europe in June and will be introduced to Japan next month.
