Chinese auto-manufacturer Jiangling Auto Company (JAC) recently exported 380 vehicles
– which included the largest truck export package in recent years –
to Turkey, reports Xinhua News (4/12/00).

According to the news agency, the exported vehicles – built at a cost
of $US5m – were 280 light-trucks and 100 mid-sized passenger cars. Built
for the Turkish importer, these vehicles were also designed to meet EU environmental
standards, said JAC, the largest car dealer in Turkey.
