China is expected to unveil detailed rules and measures on boosting the auto sector on a rolling basis through this year, beginning in mid-March.


Different state departments are working on rules, according to departmental responsibilities, the Xinhua state news agency reported.


According to Zeng Qinghong, general manager of Guangzhou Automotive Industry Group, altogether 17 detailed supporting measures are expected to be unveiled in March, May, July, September and November respectively.


According to the Xinhua report, the Ministry of Finance is drafting measures to promote auto sales in rural areas and new energy vehicle production and sales.


The Government Offices Administration of the State Council is in charge of drafting of rules on government procurement of vehicles.
