China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp Ltd (CNHTC) has announced it produced 63,526 heavy-duty vehicles in Jan-May period, up 47.4% year-on-year.

The heavy commercial vehicle maker sold 60,594 heavy-duty vehicles for the first five months, representing an increase of 41% from a year earlier and bringing in record sales income of CNY22.6bn, up 59.3% year on year.
Both its output and sales volume exceeded 15,000 vehicles in the months of March, April and May respectively. CNHTC has set the goal of producing and selling 12,000 heavy-duty vehicles in June, which will boost the output and sales volume for the first six months to 75,000 units, 60% of the target set for the whole year.
