Ford Motor’s China partner, Chongqing Changan Automobile, will continue to suspend trading in its shares pending announcement of a major issue.

In a statement on Friday, Changan Auto did not specify the nature of the “unprecedented” issue, which it said the company’s management was still discussing, Reuters reported. Its A shares, traded in Shenzhen, were suspended on 10 October.
