The results of ‘China’s Most Admired Companies (2014-2015)’ awards were unveiled at the CPPCC Auditorium on 29 July. Chery was highly recognised by the judges for its efforts in independent innovation, independent brand building and its achievements, becoming the only Chinese automaker with independent brand ranking among the ‘China’s Most Admired Companies’. This is also the second time for Chery to be included in the list.
As the earliest selecting activity in China, which paid attention to corporate values, the event has been held successfully for 14 years. Under the theme of ‘Strategy of Big Power, Thoughts of Enterprises’ and the mechanism of ‘primary selection and nomination + initial review of materials + final review’, based on keywords such as social responsibility, innovation leadership, environmental protection and carbon reduction, growth potential, reform drive, globalisation and cultural promotion, the enterprises involved were assessed in an all-round manner. Eventually, 30 enterprises including Chery, Huawei, BMW and Baidu were honoured. Chery was unanimously recognised by the judges for its outstanding performance in fields such as innovative development and exploration of the development path of Chinese brands.
At the award ceremony, Chery GM Assistant Jin Yibo said that the award is a recognition of and encouragement to Chery’s efforts in independent innovation and brand building, as well as a motivation and responsibility. Chery’s mission is ‘Innovative Chery Makes You Brilliant’. The ‘you’ is our customers, our partners, our cities, China’s auto industry and our employees. Plus Chery will make their future more brilliant.
